Company-wide events like “Jean Days” are great examples of an easy way to bring your employees together while supporting a great cause. Contact your HR department today to find out if you can organize a company-wide Giving Tuesday event to support Hattie Larlham.

Remember, all donations to Hattie Larlham on November 28 will be matched dollar-for-dollar. So, whatever your company raises will double!

If your company will plan an event to raise funds for Hattie Larlham on Giving Tuesday, let us know. Send an email to communications@hattielarlham.org. We would be happy to provide you with more information to encourage your employees to give.

We are in still in need of volunteers to host holiday activities for those we serve on #GivingTuesday on November 28 and we invite you to join us to make a difference in the lives of the babies, children, and adults we serve throughout Northeast Ohio.

Giving Tuesday is a national day of giving held on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and over the past several years, groups from local businesses and organizations have given their time to our residents and program participants. Volunteer opportunities are available in during work hours or in the early evening.

We understand that this is a busy time of year for all of us, and may not always be possible to make a monetary gift, but the gift of your time is also valuable and meaningful to those we serve. We hope you will consider volunteering with us on Giving Tuesday.

If your group would like to host an activity, please contact Volunteer Coordinator Lauri Molnar at 330-760-3393 to learn more and sign up. We can work with your availability and find a location that is ideal for you and your group.

Tues., Oct. 31, 2017 – Giving Tuesday is FOUR weeks away!

Your gift to Hattie Larlham on November 28 creates opportunities for Marina and her fellow residents to explore their communities.

Hattie Larlham residents are active members of their community. Whether someone lives at the Hattie Larlham Center for Children with Disabilities or in a community-based home, we support them as they explore their roles as our neighbors and friends.

Marina is social butterfly. At home she can be found helping out in the kitchen or talking with her roommates. However, Marina really enjoys doing things outside her home. In the summer she attends camp where she has made lots of friends. The relationships she’s building outside of her home creates opportunities for Marina to meet more people, explore new activities and experience her community.

This year, donations to Hattie Larlham on Giving Tuesday will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $15,000. Please remember the babies, children and adults in our care on this national day of giving and Click. Share. Give.

Giving Tuesday is November 28. When you give to Hattie Larlham, you support success stories like Michael’s.

When he was only days old, Michael’s parents were told he wouldn’t live to see his first birthday. Michael was diagnosed with failure to thrive.

“The doctors told me Michael would never be able to hold my hand,” said Michael’s mom Sarah.

After spending the first year of his life in and out of the hospital, Michael came to live at the Hattie Larlham Center for Children with Disabilities. Thanks to Hattie Larlham and your support, Michael celebrated his ninth birthday this year.

Michael doesn’t only receive intense medical care from Hattie Larlham. Just like other boys his age, Michael enjoys pool time, Boy Scouts and field trips to the zoo.

It takes a team of medical professionals, caregivers and Hattie Larlham donors and supporters to create opportunities for Michael.

Because of you, our supporter, residents like Michael thrive.

Please remember Hattie Larlham on Giving Tuesday. Your online donation helps Michael and other children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
